As founder of S&G, Guy brings to the business an extensive career in the insurance industry that began in 1985. The experience Guy has gained working in both private and public corporate environments has underpinned the successful growth of S&G to date and will continue well into the future.

It is with these beliefs that S&G has been founded and has grown to earn the trust and regard of its many and varied client base. Guy has a Diploma in Financial Services Broking - Dip Fin Serv (Brok.) and is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker - QPIB.
Outside of work Guy is a keen sailor and family man.
Phil joined the Surety Group in April 2000 and brings to the group over 20 year's experience in the Finance Industry. He has a diverse background working for a large Bank for 9 years, a national Building Society for 10 years, and a Mortgage Insurer for 2 years. Various senior management positions were held within these organisations.
Phil has a Diploma in Accounting and has obtained many finance-related certificates throughout his employment history. Within the Surety Group Phil is currently responsible for the management of a specialised surety product on a national level and works closely with both established referrer networks and the management team who underwrite this product.
John has over 18 years experience in the insurance industry. He has held senior positions with several of the world’s largest insurance brokerages, holding several national management positions in marketing and placement.
John has been responsible for service and placement of some of Australia’s largest and most complex placements in such industries as Financial Institutions, Petrochemical, Aviation, Manufacturing, Retail, Sports & Events, Government Infrastructure, Construction and Medical.
John is a nominated Responsible Officer of Surety & General.
John’s experience enables him to find unique solutions to clients' needs and requirements as well as being in a position to work with Surety & Generals clients to best leverage the transfer of risk on their behalf. his strong commitment to client servicing ensures the very best levels of service on all client related matters.
John is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB), is ANZIIF Tier 1 Qualified, is a Senior Associate (ANZIIF) and has attained a Diploma Financial Services (Broking).
Frederique joined the group in November 2009 having persued a career working for global engineering, trading and insurance groups as both a Financial Controller and CFO.
Originally from Paris, Frederique holds a Master in Economics & Finance from the Institute of Political Science, Paris (with a post graduate diplomas in corporate analysis and Consultancy from Paris Dauphine) as well as a bachelor degree in Economics.
Jonathan joined Surety & General in April 2009 and brings over 9 years experience in the general insurance broking industry.
Jonathan’s background is in the corporate market being responsible for the placement and service of some of the most recognizable companies operating throughout both Australia and Internationally.
Within S&G Jonathan is responsible for the placement and service of general insurance classes for commercial & corporate clients over a broad range of industries and occupations of all sizes.
Jonathan has a Diploma of Financial Services Broking – Dip Fin Serv (Brok), Certificate IV in Management and Team Leadership and is a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP).
Stephen joined the Group in March 2009. He brings to the Group 30 years of Insurance and Reinsurance industry experience. Stephen has worked in the Australian, New Zealand and London markets as an Underwriter, Administrator, Portfolio Manager and Broker. His broad work experience has encompassed structuring, service and placement into the following classes:
Stephen has a Diploma in Risk Management (Monash University) along with Insurance studies including the London Market Certificate.
Jeff joined the Group in October 2008, bringing extensive experience of insurance IT having held senior technical as well as operational management roles in some of the largest insurance and banking groups both here and the UK.
Always an enthusiastic early adopter of technology Jeff has been involved in developing web based applications for both business to business and client to business since the mid-90's.
Jeff has completed post graduate studies in eCommerce at Charles Sturt and numerous technical courses in keeping up to date with this rapidly changing environment.
Lindyll has been with the Surety & General group since 2003.
During this time Lindyll has been responsible for all facets of service and placement of business for many varied industry groups, including the Financial Lines.
Within S&G Lindyll is responsible for placement of Financial Lines policies which encompasses a broad range of finance related industries, as well as placement of general and business insurance.
In addition to the above, Lindyll is S&G’s claims manager and oversees management reporting to S&G’s executive as well as reporting to our clients as/when appropriate.
Lindyll is a Tier One broker, as qualified by ANZIIF.
